Xylophataquieopiaphobia: the fear of not pronouncing words correctly.

We Fell Forward with Chris Arnold!

Fall Forward was held this weekend at Centre Notre Dame de Fatima on Île Perrot. The accommodations were great, food was good, the fellowship was wonderful and the coaching was excellent.

While the advertised starting time was correct the festivities actually started about 8:30 PM.

The weekend was great, and Chris proved he is a coach of excellent quality as well as being co-director of the Silver Medallist Chorus. He was awesome. The songs we worked on were remarkably better by the end of the sessions, and our retention rate was great (at least on Sunday!)

Now it is up to those who were not there to catch up, and for those who were to continue to replicate the success.

The stars of the Saturday Night Talent Show were Stan Blicker and Shane Neville.

The Sweet Adeline West Island Chorus joined us to put the two eight part songs together. We are going to put on an awesome show!

Cheese and Chocolate for sale!

Jerry Silverberg has received the great Chocolate Bars or Chocolate Covered Almonds. If you haven't already done so, pick up some and sell it. People really enjoy the Hershey's quality, so they are easy to sell.

He is also getting ready to start the Cheese Sale for Christmas. If your company gives Christmas presents, the cheese boxes are a great gift. The project will start in October.

Don't forget, a percentage of ALL the sales you make will be accumulated in your account and can be applied to the Fall Forward, costumes, etc.

Hillbilly Joke

Deep in the woods of Tennessee on a country road, a speeder hit and killed a dog. The dog's owner stood nearby, a gun in his hand.

The speeder looks at the owner sheepishly and says, "Looks as if I killed your dog."

"Sure does."

"I'm sorry. Was it a valuable dog?"

"I wouldn't say that."

"Well, suppose I gave you a hundred dollars. Would that be enough?"

"Well, I don't know."

"Two hundred dollars. That should do it."

"Sounds good."

The speeder reached into his pocket and came up with the money. Pressing it into the man's hand, he said, "I'm sorry I spoiled your plans to go hunting."

"I wasn't going hunting. I was heading out to the woods to shoot that mangy dog."
