Contest is coming.

We will be hitting the contest stage in Brattleboro, VT in just over 3 weeks. We need to get comfortable with the plan for Beautiful Dreamer, review and be comfortable with the choreography of Give My Regards To Broadway and generally be ready to entertain the socks off our audience.

We are singing well, but there does appear to be room for improvement, if we are all on board. Are you ready?

All aboard for Brattleboro!

Post Contest Show in Brattleboro.

We have been asked to participate in a show following the contests in Brattleboro, VT. We will compete, then eat, then entertain, and then leave for home.

The show will start at 7:30 PM, and we will be on first. We will be singing the Canadian (all English words) and American National Anthems with the Manchester Chapter to start the show, and then we will have our set from the following songs:

Then we hop on the bus and leave for home.

Interchapter night March 28.

On March 28, we will have the members of the St. Lambert (South Shore) Chapter with us, as well as any other guests you would like to invite. It's an opportunity to sing for a real audience, so ask your friends and relatives to drop in and see how we are doing.

Quartetting at 7:00PM, tonight!

We have started the Barber Pole Cat program again, and all members who are interested in learning, or helping to teach are welcome. We started on Monday, February 28 at 7:00 PM, and will be continuing for the foreseeable future.

Show time in 10 weeks!

Our Show Chairman extraordinaire, Bert Brossoit has given out show tickets to those who pre-ordered, and he is ready to provide as many as you need.

Alan Kenley has agreed to be the advertising co-ordinator, and we need to talk to companies, our dentist, barber, you name it. Lets fill the program with business card ads, quarter pages, half pages… well you get the idea.

This will be a joint show, with the West Island Sweet Adeline Chorus and will feature Commonly Unique and our 2004 International Quartet Champions, Gotcha!.

2007 District in Montreal?

We have been asked to host District Convention and Contest on October 19-21, 2007.

A theatre style venue with 1500 to 2000 seats is required and hotel rooms for delegates plus warm-up rooms for quartets and choruses. The District would prefer not to use hotels or convention centres.

Investigations into availability of facilities for those dates are ongoing.

Show email list now available.

When you are talking to your friends and acquaintances about our show, ask them to subscribe to our new Show Email List. Send a blank email to iccshow-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and they will be registered to get updates on shows and performances, and possibly last minute specials.

No International forRoad Show?

Rick Spencer steps down as tenor!

Rick's demanding travel schedule working for the Barbershop Harmony Society, which has prevented the quartet from accepting as many show dates as they'd like, and the VERY EXCITING news that Rick and his wife, Melissa, are expecting their first child this July. As a result, Road Show will not be competing this spring to qualify for international in Salt Lake City.

Rick will perform in the quartet's spring show season, with his final appearance being Sunday, June 5th, on the Coastline Show Chorus (Sweet Adelines) show in Providence, RI...Road Show's hometown!

With Rick's strong support in seeing the quartet continue to reach new heights, the quartet did decide to look for new personnel. Road Show's baritone, Mike Gabriella, will be taking the tenor spot, and the quartet is excited to announce that Jimmy Berger will be filling the baritone role.

Road Show will not be competing in Salt Lake City this year, but plans to be back for 2006 in Indianapolis.
