In Memoriam:
The Keene chapter lost a dear man - a talented, dedicated brother on
Monday, January 18, 2010, from a tragic auto accident in Leominster, Mass.
Michael Dowd, age 41, will be remembered for his wit and humor, his
infectious laugh, and a wonderful bass voice. He truly saw the best
of any situation and was a most encouraging person. He leaves a
wife, Kim, son Evan (10) and daughter, Paige (8). He is the son of Jack
Dowd, devoted member of the Beverly (MA) chapter. The Cheshiremen sang at
the wake and funeral. A comment posted on Facebook after:
"...
the evening of the wake ... I was moved by not only the chorus turning
out, but by the men who have moved on from membership who joined in to
sing ... and then the father of Mike singing not only with the chorus but
with his quartet ... men who love each other ... could just heal the whole
world ..."
We will miss you
dearly, Michael. Rest in Peace. God bless you. Thanks for
all you have done.
