MRRT: Membership Recruitment & Retention Team/Techniques for Chapters of the Northeastern District |

What is MRRT ?
MRRT was the creation of our
president and music director of the Keene chapter about 12 years ago. MRRT's intention was to increase membership through an organized and
specifically trained team within the chapter to help insure a steady
increase in chapter membership... and a way to keep members coming each
week, as well.
MRRT is a "holistic" approach consisting of three parts: Chapter health, recruitment of members, and retention of members.
The health of the chapter is a list of
areas each chapter should examine to see if they are ready for a MRRT
team. The recruitment part involves specific training (and cross
training) of a team within the chapter to learn how to manage
recruitment from a guest night through a guest's first four visits to
the chapter. Retention is an organized process for MRRT members to keep
track of all members to learn how members are feeling about their
chapter experience to minimize the loss of members.
The program has been incredibly successful
for Keene and we are honored that the District has asked the Keene
Chapter to teach the MRRT program all around the district.
