The Key of Eh? sang in the Hudson Music Club Production, "Broadway, Encore."

This musical revue featured songs from the best loved musicals of the 20th Century. For this occasion our quartet had five members.

There were 5 in that quartet

Left to right Standing: Don Dufort(bs), Ron Dawson(t)
Seated: Murray Phillips(bs), Al Mahoney (br), Jeffery Mance (l)

Our bass, Murray, suffered a heart attack on January 31, 2000 and was hospitalised for 17 days. Since we had already made the commitment to the Hudson Music Club, we asked Don Dufort (a quality bass) if he would perform with us. He agreed and learned the two songs we were perfoming as a quartet, "Standing On The Corner," and "Lida Rose/Dream of Now."

As it turned out, Murray made a rapid recovery and stood in for Don for the first weekend, when Don came down with the Millennium Flu and was unable to sing, work or do any fun stuff.

Singing "Lida Rose" [Weekend 1]

Don performed on the second Friday, Murray did the Saturday Matinee and they BOTH sang on the Final performance. Jeffery was surronded by basses and enjoyed the feeling.

That's why there were 5 in our quartet.
