  RESPECT

For those of our members that are not connected to the internet, I would like to relay an E-mail that came across from one of our members, namely Dave Casavant. David  stated that with guest in our midst, we must be mindful of our manners and language. He states that it wasn’t so long ago that we had a young guest  from Hamilton, with a very nice singing voice, who experienced some uncomfortable language, and  we have not experienced his company since. Now gentlemen, we have too many classy people within our ranks not to show respect for our guests, our people up front, and especially ourselves. Last week we had several young people within our company who would be a welcome addition to our chapter.THANK YOU DAVE !  Enough said.

GUESTS  LAST  WEEK!

From Salem, comes former member Ralph Countie to help bolster the Bari section, and also young  Jim Hegner back for one of his several visits. From Marblehead, comes Mr. Bob Tyler who will soon be auditioning for the chorus. From Sanborn, NH, comes young Jeff Saltalamacchia to help one Mr. Arnone within our tenor section. Paul got more help from Wakefield, as Matt Evangelista and Mike Twohig promised to return for another visit.

TRYING TO KEEP THE CALENDER STRAIGHT !

MONDAY, JULY 22nd  we are performing at the summer series in Danvers, MA. Scheduled singing time is 6pm.

SUNDAY, JULY 28th  we are performing at Stage Fort Park in Gloucester, MA. With a singing time of 7pm.

On THURSDAY, AUGUST 15th we are performing on the Beverly commons starting  at 6pm.

On FRIDAY, AUGUST 23rd we will return to the Methodist church in Rockport, MA. for a 7pm engagement and yes we did sing there last year with one flashlight in the dark

Please remember that we will most certainly be asked to arrive at the performances earlier than the singing times reported and also all of these are paid performances for the chapter. Please make an effort to attend as many as possible.

We have two very important dates already in 2003.   On the weekend of March 14th to the 16th we are hosting the spring prelims in Peabody, MA. While on MAY 10th we will hold our annual show with a quartet that was formally in the top five at  international.
