On Q is celebrating its seventh year as one of the top performing quartets in the Society’s Northeastern District. Combining a smooth blend of voices with an air of fun, OnQ provides family-friendly entertainment to audiences with their unique brand of harmony and comedy. On Q was named the Yankee Division’s top quartet of 2005--an honor that was bestowed upon them again in 2008. At the recent Northeastern District Contest and Convention held October 23rd and 24th in Manchester, CT, the foursome of Tom, Steve, Jim, and Harrison scored 1st place, marking On Q's 5th consecutive top 10 finish!

Tom Savinelli provides the sweet tenor voice of the On Q sound. Tom is a medical doctor residing in Cromwell, CT with his loving wife and 4 amazing children. Tom sings tenor with both On Q and the Manchester Silk City Chorus.

The very talented Steve Wolf provides On Q’s lead voice. A resident of Hebron, CT, Steve is a graduate of the Hartt School of Music, and is a drilling band member / vocalist with the Army National Guard. Steve is also an assistant director of the Silk City Chorus.

Bass Jim Kew is the quartet's most senior member. Jim is semi-retired and spends his days working part-time at his hometown church in Simsbury, CT. Jim is a board member and the bass section leader of the Manchester Silk City Chorus.

Harrison King, III sings baritone with On Q and directs the choir at his hometown church in Granby, MA. By day, Harrison works in the Operations department for a Springfield-based moving and storage company.

On Q is proud and humbled to have been awarded the Northeastern District's 2009 Quartet Champion title. The quartet is excited about the performance opportunities of the coming year and is eager to entertain audiences of all sizes.

This quartet would not be here today if it were not for the efforts of three additional singers, all of which were members of OnQ at one time. Many thanks are to be given to Matt Taylor, John Anton, and Scott Glosick for getting this group started!
