The Northeastern District (NED) is one of 17 North American districts and an affiliate/associate entity of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. (SPEBSQSA, Inc.) dba the "Barbershop Harmony Society". Founded in 1946, We serve the northeast region of the United States and Eastern/Atlantic Canada with 40 regional chapters and approximately 1,100 members.
